Hello you brilliant waffle, pancakes, muffin, (insert other satisfyingly delicious breakfast foods here).
I feel like an official update on here is long long overdue, so before you guys start accusing me of being dead before my subscription even ended (which I feel really bad for not utilizing to it's full potential, trust me.. because it was a gift.. I'M TRYING!!!) I do have something to say:
...and here I'll try my best to not make it sound like a bunch of sad excuses...
College, work and love life have been clashing like something incredible for me recently.. but that's not a bad thing
I've been thrust into life headfirst, kicking and screaming, and have been emerging on top of every possible obstacle ever. (Fingers incredibly crossed because it seems like fate's been playing "soap opera" with me recently. It's like God somehow found out I really like intense action thriller drama stories and has been acting on this knowledge like nobody's business.) All thanks to my powerfully overwhelming friends and new experiences however, I completely forgot I have a web presence other than the fact that I occasionally log into facebook to ask people for homework and to chill.
So I must say now, that even though I've taken a semester off from any and all art classes, I think this period of time has been the most artistically productive for me.. if not in terms of works completed than in the self-awakening sense. (Although I have made a significant number of pics and I do have a full lineup of artwork to upload..)
This time's made me realize that I absolutely NEED art in my life, or I get very depressed very quickly and start questioning everything from the meaning of existence and life as a whole to "what's in this meat".
It feels like I took a much needed breather to fully recognize who I am
And it's been the best breather ever.
Because when you start up with the creation again, and the entire artistic atmosphere it's the best feeling in the world.
